After renaming over 100 users after an organisational name change, a few users are repeatedly (at least twice a day) being prompted for their password and then shown a "Backup ID File" popup dialogue indicating that their id has changed. This is not triggered from an email. They have accepted their name change a couple of weeks ago. Regardless of whether they "send" or "cancel" the mail at the dialogue, they are again asked later in the day to backup their id file.
If they send the email, it is succesfully arriving in the recovery id database.
We are not using ID recovery at O or OU level. The users are not all in the same OU, or renamed from the same OU.
This has been going on for a couple of weeks and is upsetting the users who keep getting it.
Anyone able to offer any advice?
